Career
Allyson joined ESA in 2022 and was promoted to Chief People Officer in 2024. She has nearly 20 years of experience in human resources, recruitment, and operational management. Allyson is a seasoned professional dedicated to enhancing organizational efficiency through strategic HR practices. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated exceptional leadership in various roles, most notably as Chief Administrative Officer and Director of Human Resources & Administrative Services at Southeastern Universities Research Association (SURA). In this role, Allyson was pivotal in implementing comprehensive HR services, managing employee relations, and overseeing compensation and compliance programs. Allyson’s expertise extends to talent acquisition, performance management, and employee development, where she has successfully led initiatives to foster inclusive and motivational workplace cultures. Prior to her tenure at SURA, she served as Senior Director & Human Resources Business Partner at Rare and was responsible for global talent strategy, employee engagement and talent acquisition.
Earlier in her career, Allyson supported recruitment efforts to support strategic expansion of organizations’ operations, including at CKI, SAIC, HDR and Aerotek.
